“Through the creation of masks, subsequent styling work and the making of the clothes, the “Agglomerati” project was born. The name refers to the creative process, which is precisely based on unions and decorations. Here then is expressed fear, restlessness, desire, doubt and vanity.
All unique pieces, made entirely by hand by Francesco, the masks are impersonations of imaginary characters, which needed a look studied in detail. “I wanted to work with clothes from other brands, but during the research I couldn’t feel satisfied, because in my mind every character was dressed in a certain way, so I decided to make many clothes from the beginning, going along with my vision. Other things, the more basic ones, are from designer friends instead.”
This project gives us proof of the mind’s capacity for self-analysis, which mixed with a touch of creativity, is able to produce real works of art that help us to understand but above all to understand ourselves. Francesco with “Agglomerati” has not created a simple collection, but has shown us that even the blackest emotions if processed and welcomed can become trendy, to the point that they can be worn.”
The attempt is to recreate a TV show where a fictitious TV presenter sells these masks.
